Sub; Doubts for clarification on fixation of pay in respect of DIRECT RECRUITS prior to
01.01.2006 vis-a-vis on or after 01.01.2006 whose pay is fixed under Section 11 Part A
Schedule-1 of CCS (RP) Rules 2008 - regarding.
Sir/Madam,
You are aware that the entry pay for direct recruits as laid down in Section 11 Part A Schedule-1 of CCS (RP) Rules 2008 had not been implemented in KVS pending clarification of stepping up of pay of Senior Direct Recruits prior to 01.01.2006 vis-a-vis Direct Recruits on or after 01.01.2006 (Juniors),sought for by KVS to MHRD on 14.11.08. Director UT-2 MHRD vide letter No.F3-43/2008/UT-2 dated 20th March 2009 has issued clarifications in consultation with Min. of Finance (copy enclosed) which may be given effect to immediately as under:
1. Entry pay as given in Section 1I Part A Schedule I be allowed to all DIRECT RECRUITS on or after 01.01.2006.
2. Pay in the pay band of the Senior Direct Recruits prior to 01.01.2006 may be stepped up at par with the Junior Direct Recruits in that post.
3. Arrears of pay & allowances consequent upon this from 01.09.2008 to 28.02.09 may be disbursed in full to direct recruits on or after 01.01.2006 from the amount available.
4. Shortfall if any may be intimated by 10th April 2009.
