ISSUE OF TRANSPORT ALLOWANCE DURING SUMMER VACATION
A long pending issue for the grant of transport allowance to the vacation staff of Atomic Energy Education Society is still pending and needs a special attention by the authorities of AEES.
A) Transport Allowance for the summer vacation is not being paid to the vacation staff as this is being considered as "leave period". But according to a clear cut order by the Govt. of India the "vacation is not a period spend on leave and therefore teachers are entitled for transport allowance without any signature for a single day in their schools."
B) If a teacher is not being paid Transport allowances in summer vacation then what about the part of CCA (City Compensatory Allowance) which was "subsumed" as transport allowance.
C) The Education dept. is a vacation dept. and we all are losing 20 Earned leave and 20 Half pay leave every year costing about Rs 20000 per year to enjoy the vacation, in comparison to other employees of a non-vacation department Then what is the justified motto to issue orders compelling and "directing" us to do seminars or coaching’s in summer vacation or winter break, or outstation duties during autumn break.
Friends, this issue is going to create a major uproar/impact on about hundreds of teachers/lab staff belonging to AEES as AEES management wishes to follow the footsteps of KVS and at the same time dares to violate rules framed by the Govt. of India.
You all are requested to provide an open hearted support to your own ACTSWA for the success.
